What are your fees?
Fees range between $125 to $200 depending on the services.
Do you take insurance?
Currently, we are in a network with Aetna, United Health Care, Optum, Oxford and BCBS. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about eligibility.
Do you have same-day appointments?
Availability varies from day to day. The online scheduler will allow you to book an appointment within a 6-hour time frame prior to the scheduled time.
Do you see clients for other issues other than trauma, anxiety, or OCD?
Yes. We address a wide range of concerns but offer specialized treatment for Trauma, Anxiety, and OCD disorders.
Do you offer a sliding fee?
Yes. We offer a sliding fee or reduced fee to a minimum amount of clients who are highly motivated and in need of financial assistance.
What can I do if there is no availability at a specific time and day?
If you can not find a time or day that works for you, you can add yourself to our waitlist. As soon as your requested time becomes available we will let you know.
I have an emergency and can’t make it to my appointment.
We understand that things may come up that prevent you from keeping your appointment. If you have an emergency please contact us so we can help.
How long are the sessions?
Typically a session is between 53-55 minutes long. For younger children sessions can range between 35-45 minutes long.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
Currently, all sessions are done virtually via our HIPPA-compliant EHR.
I am in crisis and need immediate care, what can I do?
Please be aware that Becoming You is NOT a crisis service, and we also may not be able to immediately respond to you. If you are in imminent danger of harming yourself or others, OR experiencing a life-threatening emergency or crisis situation, please contact either 911 or the crisis hotline at 988.
What ages do you treat?
We treat children 6+, adolescents, adults, and geriatric.
Do you offer membership plans?
Yes. We offer membership plans at a discount rate for clients who want to commit to long-term care.
What are your forms of payment?
Payments are made electronically through the client portal. We accept all major cards.
Why do you ask for a credit card or booking deposit?
The client portal will act for all clients to save a credit card on file. For client privacy, staff can only view the last four numbers of the card on file. A card is requested to facilitate payments after each session. New clients making an appointment for the first time are required to make a booking deposit to prevent having no-shows. The amount of the deposit will be applied to the total of services.
How many sessions do I need?
Everyone’s therapeutic process is different. Typically clients like to start with 12 sessions. Some may need more or fewer sessions depending on individual goals and needs. You can end or start therapy at any time.
What are your hours?
Sessions are conducted Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. In the client portal you will find access to the availability calendar as well as access to schedule your own appointments.
What approaches do you use?
All approaches used are evidence-based such as CBT, TF-CBT, Mindfulness, ERP, Trauma-Informed, EMDR, DBT and more. You can learn more about a certain approach in your free consultation.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. In the client portal, you are able to purchase gift cards for yourself or others.
What type of therapy do you offer?
We offer individual, family, group, and couples therapy.
What can I do if I need to cancel an appointment?
Please make sure to cancel appointments with at least a 24-hour notice. You can cancel or modify an appointment in the client portal up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late cancelations or no-shows will be charged a late cancellation fee of $50.
