Welcome to Becoming You, a place of healing and transformation.

Becoming You

You are feeling hopeless and disconnected from the people around you. You feel stuck and are you overwhelmed by life. You experienced something difficult and need support. You want to improve your quality of life but don’t know where to start.

Maybe you don’t know how to explain what you feel or what you are going through? We want you to know that it is ok to have these feelings and it’s ok if you can’t find the words to explain it. With our support and guidance, we can help you overcome the feelings of uncertainty you may be experiencing. We know life can be complicated. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or a loved one, know you are not alone.

Our Mission

Our mission at Becoming You is to provide high quality services that are accessible to all. The passion to serve and help lead our founder, Berenice Torruco, to open her own practice where we can extend our services to all of the residents of Texas via our teletherapy platform. We are committed to servicing the whole person and focusing on their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social wellness.  Here we understand that sometimes life challenges may lead us to feeling lost and confused. Other times life’s obstacles such as trauma experiences may inhibit us from becoming who we are meant to be. At our center you will find a place where you can heal and grow no matter what your experience has been.

Seeking out a psychotherapist can be an empowering decision to make as you step into a journey of self-exploration and growth. Taking part in therapy can help you feel more free to express and understand emotions, without feeling judged. At Becoming You we offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can build confidence, feel supported, and gain personal understanding. When working with us, you get the benefit of having someone solely devoted to helping you explore your feelings at whatever stage you are. Together we will support you in discovering your most authentic self while feeling free to be who you are and work towards meaningful change.
